About nida
TrooRa gives voice to the unheard, sometimes misunderstood individuals who care more about the work than the applause. Whether it's diverse writers merging borders with words or changemakers defining uncharted paths, TrooRa uncovers hidden stories to inspire change and hope.
One of my favorite TrooRa articles was my interview with Tanya Heath, founder of an innovative shoe brand with interchangeable heels. Her ability to identify a pressing and overlooked problem in fashion and devote her life to it was remarkable.
If I could change something in the world, it would be ending indifference. In a world desensitized by war and tragedy, it’s easy to lose sight of empathy. My favorite drink is Chai. I am a South-Asian, Pakistani Canadian. There is no escaping this colonized drink.
